WORLD CONTACT FREEDOM DAY OCTOBER 9
Your address book is not a pricing tier.
The post office charges when mail moves. Your email platform should not charge just for remembering customers.
One letter. One very long bill.

Not the meterYour address book does not choose the plan.
What this shows: the lowest public monthly list price that can hold the selected number of marketable contacts or profiles. No annual terms, introductory discounts, SMS, or add-ons.
What it does not show: a pure storage fee or a verdict on product quality. Each plan bundles different sends, features, support, and limits.
Klaviyo calls them active profiles. Omnisend calls them billable contacts. Loops counts subscribed contacts. The definitions differ; the effect is the same: more marketable people can require a larger plan before another campaign is sent.
Brevo already proves contact-led pricing is not inevitable. Email delivery, automation, activity storage, support, and abuse prevention still cost money. Linnet’s promise is specific: keeping a larger address book by itself will not move you into a higher plan.
HOW LINNET PRICES EMAIL
Keep the history.
Pay for the work.
Store your real customer history without moving into a higher plan just because the list grew. Sending, automated journeys, data storage, and support still have clear limits.
Stored customer history
A person can remain in your customer history without becoming a monthly tax.
Sending and running email
Email sends, automated journeys, stored activity, and support all have clear limits.
Permissions, blocked addresses, and history
If you leave, your permissions, blocked addresses, and delivery history should come with you. You should not have to pay to unlock your own records.
For the people who send and the people who build.
Fair pricing only matters if developers and marketers can still do their best work.
The API is only useful when you can see what happened.
Separate API keys, safe test sending, signed webhooks, spending limits, and a clear history for every email.
Try the send lab
Build the audience without deleting the relationship.
Create clear audience segments, on-brand templates, and campaigns ready for approval. Keep the customer history behind every decision.
Build an email kit
Move one real email job first.
Do not move everything at once. Start with one email, confirm who should receive it, check the delivery result, then move more.
Plan a safe move
- GatherSending domains, email types, customer permissions, blocked addresses, activity history, and your current bill.
- TestUse test mode, then send one real email to a small approved group while your current provider stays ready.
- Move moreMove more email only after delivery, support, and cost look right.
WORLD POST DAY, OCTOBER 9
Remember customers.
Do not rent them.
Run the check now. Then ask your platform what your next thousand stored contacts will cost before you send anything.
